ZOE protects the identity and dignity of children and does not show trafficked children.
Human Trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for profit. Men, women and children of all ages and from all backgrounds can become victims of this crime, which occurs in every region of the world. The traffickers often use violence or fraudulent employment agencies and fake promises of education and job opportunities to trick and coerce their victims.

Human trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of persons by means of coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation.
FREE CURRICULUM
The Australian Curriculum gives teachers the opportunity to explore some of the big issues facing the globe today. These resources were developed to support the current Australian Curriculum with free downloadable versions available to comply with the Australian and New South Wales Curriculum Standards. The curriculum was written by Mark Easton who has written, co-written or contributed to more than forty textbooks for students and guides to support teachers in their use of these resources in the classroom.
TALKS FOR SCHOOLS
ZOE Foundation Australia (ZFA) began sharing in schools in Australia in 2011, presenting on a range of topics including child trafficking, vulnerability, ethical consumerism, child labour and tourism, to educate students about Modern-day Slavery. We believe that creating a space for students to learn and ask questions from our team, will encourage them to think holistically about issues and embolden them to use their giftings and talents to become advocates for others.
HOW ZOE PROTECTS CHILDREN
With every action we take at ZOE, we always put the children first. From creating a safe and nurturing environment for child trafficking survivors to employing a strict Child Protection Policy, we always make sure the child is protected from all forms of abuse. Our Child Protection Policy covers standards of conduct, recruitment, and screening of staff. We also have a Media Protection Policy that describes the use of non-identifiable images and publicity protocols.
RESOURCES
Spreading child trafficking awareness is one way we combat the trafficking of children. We believe the more people know the realities and prevalence of child trafficking, the more likely they’ll take action to end it. In our Awareness Campaigns, we visit communities in Southeast Asia, U.S., and Australia. These people are provided educational packets, so they can help spread human trafficking awareness among their peers. We also have an extensive network of local law enforcement officials, teachers, and pastors in these areas who help us identify and rescue victims of child trafficking. Discover our valuable resources designed to help you learn, advocate, and raise funds for our cause. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against child trafficking.
